Martha's Speaking Engagements Martha ministers under the protection and oversight of her home church, Faith Bible Church (FBC) in Sharpsburg, GA. The Elders of FBC screen and approve all her speaking engagements and the content of her published materials. For speaking engagements they have an information form they ask each prospective host to complete and return for their consideration. Doctrinal statements are usually very helpful to the FBC Elders in providing oversight of where she travels and speaks. Typically Martha travels on a Friday morning, speaks Friday evening, Saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon, and returns home Saturday afternoon/early evening. She is usually limited to one weekend a month, but sometimes does more in special circumstances, especially if they are local to the Atlanta area. The conference schedule list shows the confirmed engagements already scheduled, but none that are still indefinite. Martha does not charge a specific speaking fee but usually is given an honorarium as the host organization sees fit. The host also pays any travel or lodging costs. She prefers to stay with a family in the hosting church or organization. These details are included in the information form and are considered by the FBC Elders.
