About the DVD "Supplement" series for
"The Excellent Wife"

These videos are of Martha teaching supplemental material. The new series of 24 DVD's is complete and
production problems have been solved. We are now shipping the set which includes some new helps for
individual study and/or group/class study of the book. Besides the 24 DVD video sessions, there are Word
documents on CD that allow you to print student handouts (print as many as you need) and PowerPoint slide
files for the sessions that allow you to use the same "show" slides that Martha uses when she teaches
"The Excellent Wife." These PowerPoints can be viewed on TV's via DVD players or projected via
computer/projector systems that are available in many churches/offices. Students only need to purchase
the book and Student Study Guide. This DVD set includes Martha's testimony on the first DVD then 23
more sessions covering all 21 chapters of "The Excellent Wife." (2 chapters have 2 parts.)

at the "Women Discipling Women" conference in 2009 there was a production error we
had to correct. Due to the rush to get these ready for the conference, we made errors in
our duplicating and discs number 2, 3, 4, and 6 need to be replaced. If you will please
contact us at bibledataservices@mindspring.com and give us shipping directions we will
expedite shipment of the corrected replacement discs. We apologize for the errors on that
first production run and are reasonably sure that all have been replaced; however if you

Q: What advice would you give to a divorced Christian woman or a single Christian woman about Christian "singles groups?"

A: For the most part, I would not encourage any single woman to order her social life or church life around a singles group. I think all Christians, married or single, should be serving the Lord and using their spiritual gifts in the church for the building up of the saints.

"Mighty Men: The Starter's Guide to Leading Your Family" by John Crotts

Christian men often find the task of family leadership so daunting. We withdraw from it into a distance uninvolvement, leading the wife and children with the impression that we don't care enough to lead, or we don't want to, when the heart of the problem is we are frightened of it. Or, we don't want to admit that we lack the tools or how-to training.

John Crotts, Martha's pastor and friend, has written this booklet in hopes of providing something of a "starter kit" of tools for men who are reluctant to take the reins of spiritual leadership in their homes. This booklet shows them the path to imitating Christ in love and servant-leadership of those who are looking to them.
